The latest Australian horror flick is a bloody scare campaign

You might have had a giggle at a prank on the Internet recently — but just what happens when these stunts take a step too far?


This is the concept of Scare Campaign, by Australian filmmakers Cameron and Colin Cairnes. It follows their feature film debut, 100 Bloody Acres in 2012, which has the dubious honour of being one of the most illegally downloaded movies in Australia at the time.



Scare Campaign is set around a prank TV show, which is desperate for ratings in the face of a new edgy web series that is making them look old-fashioned. It's up to the producers to up the ante, and they've come up with an elaborate stunt that will shock. Porn star James Deen's company fined $78,000 after condom violation

A California adult film production company owned by porn star James Deen has been slapped with nearly $78,000 in proposed fines for numerous health and safety violations — including not requiring performers to use condoms


Cal/OSHA began investigating James Deen Productions, also known as Third Rock Enterprises, following a complaint last December. 'Batman vs. Superman' is partnering with Turkish Airlines, to everyone's surprise

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's...a Turkish Airlines product placement.


Warner Bros.' upcoming Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice is taking flight through a promotional campaign with Turkish Airlines that includes a specially themed Boeing 777 outfitted with superhero imagery and a commercial starring Jesse Eisenberg and Ben Affleck.



The partnership was first launched last month but many viewers were first exposed to it when the commercial aired during the Oscars red carpet show on Sunday.


According to the airline, the promotion was born from a pivotal action scene in the movie that takes place on board a Turkish Airlines plane. Read more...
