Since 1985, Australia's Wonderland theme park was a rite of passage for thousands of kids, who were terrified by its massive rollercoasters and sickened by its fried food on sticks

Childhood died on April 26, 2004, however, when the park shut down due to financial issues. Plans for its revival have been rumoured for years now, but it looks like Wonderland may really be on its way back

The pet project of millionaire property developer Ammar Khan, who once worked at Australia's Wonderland, the theme park has secured funding and is now looking for a venue, the Daily Telegraph reported. Khan called it a "a life-consuming obsession." Read more...
