5 Outdated Workplace Practices That Are On Their Way Out

The workplace is changing and as a result many organizations are thinking of new ways that they can empower employees to get their jobs done. As with any type of evolution the things that aren’t effective die out and are replaced by something else. In this episode of the #futurein5 I wanted to share five workplace practices that I see dying out over the next few years. Of course there are others that can be included in this list but these are the most common ones that I see organizations working on.
Hierarchy
Working fixed hours
Looking at offices strictly as a place of work
Executives and managers controlling all the information
Annual employee reviews
