SAN FRANCISCO — The commencement of Pride weekend was extra sweet here after the Supreme Court decided in favor of the constitutional right for same-sex couples to marry nationwide.
"Happy SCOTUS," a man exclaimed, hugging a friend in the heart of the city's Castro district, near the joyful scene that unfolded Friday evening in the wake of the court's historic decision.
