Forget gold. When the next economic apocalypse comes, hoarding pricey computers may be the new way to save your cash

At least that’s what appears to be the case in Greece, where locals are resorting to clever means to shore up their cash: investing their money in Mac computers

Due to what is being called “anxiety spending” in Greece, driven by bank withdrawal restrictions and fears that Greece leaving the euro would drive up prices, some are buying up expensive electronics while they still have the cash to spend.
